I am looking for descendents of the children of Arch Hunter Jones and Irene Jane "Chick" Goare. Their children were:
1)Guy Ross Jones, b. 1897 in Dawson, Terrell Co., GA, d. 1962; married and later divorce Jacqueline Cohn
2) Joel Collins Jones, b. 1899, Albany, d. 1922 in KY, was in the military
3) Lorie Philboyed Jones, b. 1901, d. 1945 (in California?). married Lucille Welch, who d. 1997 (after Lorie's death, she married M. A. Putnam, Sr.);
4) Vera Irene Jones, b. 1903, d. 1975; she married Tullis Hobbs
5) Edward Stanley Jones, b. 1909, d. 1970/71
Two other children died in infancy.
I would like to hear from anyone connected to this family who might be able to tell me who Arch Hunter Jones's parents were. Irene Jane "Chick" was from Stewart County, GA, and her parents were Armstead and Irene Jane Tatum Goare. Arch Hunter may have been from Stewart Co. before marrying and living in Dawson. He and "Chick" were divorced probably in the early 1900s.
