I'm conducting family research for a friend - her grandmother is Rosa Adams (born 1886-died 12/16/1932). Family lore has it Rosa committed suicide and was found in the kitchen by the gas stove, but this hasn't been verified and my friend wants to find out the real story of her grandmother. She has her death certificate and under "Cause" it says "Unknown." That probably was cryptic for suicide back then, but maybe not. I doubt if her obituary would say, but I'd love to have it. Wonder if we could obtain it from an Albany newspaper? Does anyone have any info on that?
Rosa married Daniel Shelton McLennan (11/14/1886, Westville, Florida-2/24/1959, Dougherty, Georgia) - they were married in Florala, Alabama in January of 1910, then moved to Albany Georgia to live and to raise their son, Edward Larkin McLennan.
