82-called Corridor Z-has been improved and is four land-I am not sure how far. From Albany you would take what we call the bi-pass-only one- (Jefferson Davis Memorial)
to Clark Ave. and go toward Cordele Ga. That is four laned-and divided. I don't think you would find what you consider a major highway-but not bad driving.
Eating in Albany-according to your taste, but you will find 100 restaurants in the Dawson Road and Slappey Drive area...of every kind.
A favorite of mine is Italian Res. Johnny Carino's. We have the usual chain steak places etc..all near the mall-on Westover Road-for the most part.
We have a good Genealogy Library-in Albany. Closed on Sunday open Mon, Wed, Fri to 9-and 6 other days.
