I am a descendent of Martha Sophronia Dorsett, second daughter of Joseph Smith Dorsett. She married twice: 1) Leander Parker by whom she had 2 children, 2) Robert Campbell (my g-grandfather) by whom she had at least 4 more.

I am much interested in knowing the name of Martha Sophronia's mother. An undocumented family group sheet has her listed as Jane McCorkle (12/28/1812-11/12/1848). The death date seems about right, but I have never found any information on her.

Also, I have conflicting information on Joseph Smith Dorsett's father. Some say it was John; the group sheet I have says Joseph.
