Have you gotten a death certificate for William Posey Norton? If he died in 1933, there should be a death certificate. It could list his parents and burial site.
I have researched Nortons of Paulding, Douglas, Carroll, Cobb and Haralson trying to track my Nortons. I believe that William Posey Norton was the son of James G Norton who was the son of Cornelius Norton. Cornelius is believed to have been the son of Miles V Norton.
William P Norton & family were listed in Cleburne Co., AL in 1880. Also, listed in Cleburne in 1880 was his brother Arnold.
In 1870 William was listed with his parents in Cobb Co., Ga. In 1860 William was listed with parents in Coweta Co., Ga.
I have some information on William's children as well if you are interested.
