Hi Kathy, I do not connect through this specific branch, but I do connect to Elijah and Martha through their daughter Letty. In fact, I just visited Miller County and got a picture of Elijah and Martha's tombstone. I also visited the Georgia Archives today and found a copy of Elijah's estate appraisal and sale. Quite interesting!

I am presently seeking proof of his reported birth and death dates. The stone only gives the years and the appraisal only gives an "after" date. Have you found the proof of these exact dates (18 Jul 1788 - 6 Jan 1844)? I am also working to reslove a conflict in Martha's death date. Her tombstone says she died in 1848, but she appears to be listed in the 1850 census with her daughter, Melvina, and her son-in-law, Leonidas Duke. A web posting has shown an exact date of death as 10 May 1859, but I do not know the source of this either. Could a family Bible possibly be around somewhere?

Letty Fenn married Thomas J. Rich in Decatur County, GA. I have much on them and their descendants on my web site at: http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~nestorgenealogy/.

I am still working on filling in the details of all the Fenn children. If you would like to correspond, I would love to hear from you!

Gail Rich Nestor
