I am looking for the parents of Benjamin and Francis Marion Grubbs who are claimed to have been born about 1750 in Ebenezer, GA. Their grandfather was maybe Peter Gruber. Ben and Francis were in Augusta, GA. by 1774 or before and in Columbia Co., GA. in 1810. Ben died in Columbia Co., GA. about 1825, his wife was Mary (LNU). Children: Joab and Jeriah. Francis died in Clinton, East Feliciana Parish, LA. after 1820, wife Mary Cobb. Children: Anne, Falby, Benjamin, James, Francis Jr. and Gilbert.
