Need info on John Black (1776 - 1826, Screven County, GA)married # 1, Anna Davis? (b. ca. 1778, d. ca. 1815 in Screven County, GA). This family related to Black family in Effingham County.
I would like to find descendants that might have info on John J. Black, Sr. and his first wife and children. My records indicate he married Anna Davis and had children William A. Black, Abian Black, Douglas Black, Neyland Black and Jane Black. I am a descendant thru Douglas Black.
I have info on all the children except Abian and will gladly share.
John Black, Sr. had three children by wife # 2, Mary Davis: Sarah Susan Black, b. 1818. John J. Black, Jr., b. 1823. George Black, b. 1820.
John J. Black, Jr. (b. 1823) married Jane Caroline Stewart, b. 1824, Screven County, Georgia. They had seven children: James Edgar Black, b. 29 Jan 1843. Mary A. Black, b. June 1847. Elizabeth Black, b. 1849. Sara Caroline Black, b. 19 Dec 1851. John Franklin Black, b. 1854. Christobel Anna Black, b. 1856 and W. Black, b. 1858.
