Thank you for your interest and information, if you are still at this e-mail address. Abijah Davis' roots are still a brick wall for me. I have not found anymore about the South Carolina connection. I'm still wondering why he or his family would go from South Carolina to Maryland, though I know there was a lot of traveling going on. I do know he showed up in Woodford County, KY. in 1820, after his children were born in Maryland.
