There are a couple of cemeteries right in Egypt. As small as that little community is, there are two and they both belong to Elam-Egypt Baptist Church. The old cemetery has a lot of unnamed graves, marked with rocks. There are some graves with headstones though. And there is one family that has a large lot blocked in, with a gate to it. That was interesting when my sister and I checked it out last year. The graves in that particular cemetery are rather old. I can't remember right off hand the dates of any. That cemetery is just called Elam-Egypt Cemetery. Then in about 1900 or so, the Foy family donated the Foy Cemetery to Elam-Egypt Church. I do believe the older cemetery is used for new graves any longer.
Then back behind Elam-Egypt Baptist Church, down a county road, is Egypt Baptist(I think)Church. And as much as I have passed that church, I can't say for sure if there is a cemetery there. But I am thinking so. And I will be happy to check it for you.
Let me know the names you are looking for, and maybe some dates of birth and death or something close. And tomorrow I will go out cemetery strolling. LOL
