Anita, You are so sweet to offer. Here are the names: Furney Willis died in Aug. 1833. His wife, Pency (aka Pansy) also died within a couple of days of Furney. A tidbit of info: Furney Willis was a judge for the Inferior Court in Effingham Co. He handled probate cases, but alas, he died intestate! That tells me it was an accident, or something else unexpected. Because his wife died at almost the same time, it makes me wonder. Pency's father was Jesse Dykes. He died in 1835. Thanks again.
