I'm trying to find more information on Henry Mann b 1786 in VA. By the 1830 census his wife, oldest son George and daughter Martha had died. So that left him a widow with as many as 8 kids. Oldest daughter Judith married in 1835. Next daughter Mary Ann married George Hulme 7 Apr 1836 and on 2 Jan 1837 George Hulme filed for guardianship of Sarah Mann, Nancy Mann, Edwin J. Mann, and Henry H.Mann, minors of Henry Mann. I have been unable to find any further information on D. Haley Truman Mann and Elizabeth Mann so it is assumed that they died before 1837 because they would have been minors and in need of guardianship as well. Henry does not show back up again until the 1860 Harris county census when he's living with his brother Asa. I would be willing to reimburse any expenses incurred. I would like to have a copy of the guardianship papers as well as anything related to that. I'm also wondering if Henry left a will in Elbert.
