Hickman family in Georgia

Am looking for information on the Hickman family that was in Swainsboro, Emanuel County, Georgia in 1905. The Hickman children, Rudel, Lena, Alma, Edis, Nettie, Pauline and Elizabeth (born between 1892 and 1904)were placed in the Methodist Home for Children and Youth, Macon, Georgia in December of 1905.

Alma, Lena and Edis attended Young Harris College in 1916.

We can go forward but have no information on their parents or why they were placed in the orphanage.
