I am a volunteer searching for any family members or friends and information regarding the following: Kindred Burnell JOHNSON. Torpedoman's Mate, 1c, from, Harriman, TN. He was a sailor aboard the submarine USS Wahoo (SS-238), that went missing in WWII, Oct. 1943, in northern Japan. We have new information to share of the finding of the submarine. We wish to make contact with any family, friends or anyone with knowledge of the family. Kindred Burnell JOHNSON, gave Next of Kin, his mother: Mrs. Zena JOHNSON, 418 Queen St., Harriman. He also entered and listed his Hometown as: Harriman, TN. I have not been able to find the family on a 1930 census.
