This information was given to me by the daughter of Jim's second wife, information found in the Facets of Fannin book, and headstones at the cemeteries in which they are buried.
The daughter of Jim's second wife, referrs to him as "Uncle Jim Ritchie", also to one of Jim's sisters as "Aunt Em".
Here's all the information I have at this time.

Amos was born 14 Nov. 1896, his parents were; John W. Mathis & Martha Josie Thomas
4) Mary Ritchie
marr. Walter Davenport
Walter was born 7 Sep. 1897, his parents were; Mary Jane Mathis & Monroe Davenport
5) Mandy Ritchie
6) Hoke Ritchie
marr. Ethel Couch
Ethel's parents were; James H. Couch & Margaret Davenport, she was born about 1908 or 1909

Fairby Hazeltine Higdon
b. 25 May 1847
d. 21 Jan. 1926
Fairby's parents were; Sam Higdon & Polly Beth Queen.
Fairby marr. abt. 1866 to Franklin "Frank" Lafayette Ritchie.
Frank was born 23 Feb. 1844 and died 5 Nov. 1926, his parents were; John Douglas Ritchie & Margaret Dickerson.
Frank served in the Civil War in Company A, 8th Georgia Volunteers.
Fairby, Frank and their family lived in the Colwell Militia District of Fannin Co., GA.
Both are buried @ Millsaps Baptist Church Cemetery, Fannin Co., GA on Ritchie Creek Road
