Does anyone have a revelation on Wm. J. Beers, Letita Carson Beers, or Mary Isabella Beers (daughter), wife of William Rufus Kelley, my grandparents, of Fayette Co., Georgia? I have b&d if you need them. Please read following information:

The History of Fayette County 1821-1971, published by the Fayette County Historical Society, Inc. Library of Congress Caralog Card No.77-85489. "Brooks, Georgia, by Kathryn Crawford Langford: page 448."
(paragraph reads) By 1860 some other families who had moved into this area were the families of: James (Jimmy) and Elizabeth Gray Posey, William (Bill) and Jane Westmoreland Glass, Dr. Noah and Sallie Wilson Gable, Hillary and Nancy Anderson Brooks, Robert and Mary Elizabeth Brooks Woods, Dr. and Mrs. N. B. Drewery, LeRoy and Essie Chappell Cobb, John (Jack) and Rachel MItchell Chappell, Wm. J. Beers, who according to his great grand-daughter Miss May Belle Huckaby, was born in Dublin, Ireland, County Antrim. He was educated in Ireland. He came to New York where he taught school and then to South Carolina where he also taught. He married Letitia Carson, daughter of Thomas Carson of South Carolina. They came in a covered wagon from South Carolina to Morgan's Mill on Line Creek. They are buried in Whitewater Church Cemetery. (The Carsons possibly came to Georgia at the same time (K.C.L.).
