Roberts' Company, Georgia Infantry (Exempts) - Civil War

I am researching a John Sylvester Lester b. 1847 Rabun County Ga, d 1923 Fulton County, Ga. "Sly" was the owner of the Syl Lester & Co. - Printers. Before opening his own business he was with the Atlanta Constitutional - a well known businessman. I found a Sylvester Lester enlisted in the Roberts' Company, Georgia Infantry (Exempts) as a Corporal. However, that is all I can find. What was the Roberts' Co. Georgia Infantry (Exempts)? Film no. is M226 roll 36. I have limited information in my libaries on Georgia.

I would appreciate anyone's help with this.
Thanks, Phyllis
