James W. PADGETT, b 1862 Ga. was married to my great grandfather's sister Lillie Parthenia JONES. James was the son of Jacob Padgett & Sarah Ann McCrary. Lillie was the daughter of Charles Allison JONES & Hester A. Prather of Pickens County, Ga. Their children were:
1.Jacob Allison, b 1885 2. Arthur A, b 1888, 3.Early Lee,b.1891, 4.Ruby,no b.date, 5.William Hilliard,b 1902. 6.Barney Stevenson, b.1907, 7. Ola, b.no b.date.
William Hilliard Padgett was a barber in Rome for many years.He died in 1971. I am researching this family and would love to connect to anyone who may have information, photos(especially of my great aunt Lillie), etc. Thanks.
