Just to let those who don't know,know.I just read the obits for Rome GA and had quite a shock.The great mind and voice of Emily Oneal has been silenced forever.The last time I contacted her,she told me the genealogy was over with.She had medical problems.Now I know that it was very critical.
I live in Ohio and haven't had contact with anyone who knows her.I'm just deeply saddened to receive this news.This kind and gentle lady has helped me with trying to figure out me family roots in Rome,Ga.I'm sure that she has done this for MANY others.You can't look at any any w/o seeing her name,somewhere.My thoughts are with her family at this time.I will sadly miss her.Thank-you Emily.
