Greetings,
I am searching for the Genealogical line of Warren Wood b.12/1849, married Rachel Conn in 8/9/1872. He lived in the Cherokee / Forsyth Co. area and had 21 children (ouch!) also he re-married twice after his wives deaths. According to the International Genealogical Index provided be the Morman churches Genealogical Archives, Warrens Father is Soloman Wood b.4/1823, d.1903, but would like to confirm this. He was married to a cherokee indian woman named Jeniy (Jane) Katherine TARBUTEN b.1827, d.1907. They both lived in the Cherokee Co. area. They had many other children besides Warren and Soloman Had a brother by the name of Robert A. Wood. I believe Solomans father to be William Wood born Abt.1798 based on "History of Cherokee County Georgia" and his father to be a Thomas or Soloman Wood born Abt.1765 based on the "Old 96 District Census, South Carolina" I believe Thomas moved from NC/SC to Cherokee Co.GA. I do not know the wives or any additional children of Thomas or William. If you can help provide any additional information or if you can varify or refute this information please let me know.
Thank You,
David R. Wood
