Iam looking for a james m smith,he was a cherekee or choctaw born in 1857 in georgia,cherekee nation.He and his unknown father (MAYBE JAMES ALSO) and unknown brother, then went to alabama and grew up there.The unknown brother moved to St FRances arkansas after arriving in mississippi .In the 1880 census james was in the marshall county mississippi census.His father died shortly after arriving and buried on72 highway in marshall county mississippi,on kings mountain.james owned some land in marshall county.James had 3 sons and 1 daughter ,he died in1923.His grave is in Mt Pleasant Cementary . He has a tomb stone .Do you have him anywhere in your files.I need to know who his father was.Thank you ---peggy
