There are no Jordans listed in marked graves at Salem. I suspect that my GGGG-Grandmother Sarah Partenia "Thenny" Jordan is buried beside James Mathis in an garve marked only with feildstone. James has a tombstone that reads erected by friends b. 14 Oct 1814, d. 23 Feb 1879.
I can't say for sure but stongly suspect that she is a sister of your James (that married Nancy Booker) and daughter of James and Anna. Thenny married William Robb(s)
6/15/1846 but was living in James Mathis's household by the 1860 census. With most of the Jordan's nearby.
I know very little about the Jordan's except that most of James and Anna's children were born somewhere in GA. I have a few tidbits from the Salem Church Records, found Harden Jorden's grave CSA, SGT Company N 38th GA Infantry.
