Does anyone have any information on the family of Pleasant Turner. Pleasant was born abt. 1780 in Va.died 1850-1860 in Cherokee Co. married Nancy Unknown, born abt. 1804 in GA. and died 1860-1870 in Cherokee Co. Their children were 1. Mary S. "Polly" born abt. 1825 2. John R. born 1827 died 1897 buried Pleasant Grove in Forsyth Co. married Mary J. Unknown, but did find them on census in Forsyth and Cherokee. It seems that after John died Mary and children moved to Cherokee with oldest son Beaugard Turner. They are buried Old Hightower. 3. Rebecca born abt. 1829 4. Jackson born abt. 1838, on 1860 Cherokee Co. census he was listed as a student. 5. Elizabeth born abt. 1839 6. Henry H. born abt. 1841 7. Edmond S. born 1844 (my g grandfather) he married Frances Josephine Edwards in Forsyth Co. in 1867. They moved back to Cherokee Co. sometime after 1880. All of these children were still at home in 1860. Edmond fought in the civil war, but I can't seem to find anything on the rest. I would like to know who John R. married. Where did Rebecca, Elizabeth, Mary, Jackson, Henry go? Any information will be appreciated. Thanks
