I have some info on the Jeptha Martin family.
Sophrona Martin married Henry Hammond 7 Sep. 1873.
On 1880 Fors., Coal Mtn., #197:
Henry Hammond 26, Sophrona 27, Martha L. 1.
#196: Martha Hammond 68, Arminda 30, Amanda 24, John 13, (grandson).

In the 1870 census, Fors. Cty:
John Hammond 64, b. GA; Martha 55, b. SC.
Evaline 26, Minda 22, Amanda 20, Francis (m) 18, Henry 16, John 3.
