While researching my the relatives of my ancestor Jacob Reese in Forsyth County, I recently abstracted a few deeds.
I thought perhaps some of these might be of interest to other researchers?

[William Whitmire’s wife Elizabeth was likely a Reese before their marriage]

[This is significant because it supports the belief that the Joshua Holden found in Murray County in the 1840 census was the same man earlier found in Forsyth Co.]

[John H. Johnson was married to Mary Reese, likely the daughter of Peter Reese, Jr.; Peter was likely the brother of Jacob Reese]

[This is the ONLY place I can recall seeing that Samuel Reese was a justice of the peace]
