I am looking for further information on Annie Holland she is my gr.gr.gr. grandmother, her maiden name is unknown to me thus far. She was born in North Carolina around 1827 according to 1870 census. She was listed on the Forsyth Co,GA census for 1870 in the Coal Mountain area of Forsyth Co,GA. Her children are Sallie, Delila or Delilah, Martha, Susan, Rachel, and Roxie A. Holland they are listed with her on the 1870 census. It does not say if Annie was widowed at the time of the census in 1870. I cannot find her on any Forsyth Co,GA census other than the 1870 one. Does anybody have any info. or have them in your family tree.I am unable to find out her husband's name due to the fact I cannot find out what state they married in. I know some info on Rachel, Martha and Delilah, they all married Gravitt brothers. Rachel married George Washington Gravitt, Martha married Thomas Gravitt and Delilah married John L."Log" Gravitt, they all lived in the Adairsville,Bartow Co., Plainville, Calhoun, Gordon Co., or Rome,Floyd Co.GA areas at various times. One of Rachel Holland and George W. Gravitt's daughter's Nancy Jane was my gr.grandmother she married James Andrew Sutton, son of America Amanda Gray and William Richard "Dick" Sutton. Northwest,GA area towns of Adairsville, Calhoun, Plainville and Rome, GA. If you have any info that would help please email me. I have tried searching North Carolina records in hopes of finding her through her parents or husband also to no avail. Thanks in advance, Susan Howell GA. Notify Administrator about this message?
