Charles: We have traded info before about the Kemp family. Very complex, given the frequency of names like Moses, John Wesley, etc.
I live near the cemetery on Kemp Rd; I've been by there, but if I wrote down the names, I can't find it in all my "stuff". I will try to make a trip by there in a couple of days; it seems like it is listed in the book "Cemeteries of Forsyth Co" by Donna Parrish under another family name, perhaps Little. It is just as easy for me to go to the cemetery as it is to go to the Cumming Library to check the book. I wish they would reprint it, because I don't think there are copies available.
As most small, out-of-the-way family cemeteries, it has not been cared for. Surrounded by new subdivisions.
It has been in the news lately that Forsyth Co. wants to build a water-treatment plant in that vicinity. It has the land, it is close to the Chattahoochee River and with the population explosion experienced by FC, I guess it is needed. Of course, McGinnis Ferry Rd. is the border with Fulton Co, and all of the new subdivisions are not thrilled with the idea.
I will try to get you the info soon.. Pat
