Deborah: You mentioned Elizabeth Hughes as the 2nd wife, and I am connected to Hughes. However, my James Hughes came from Lauren Co., SC to Cherokee Co., GA.in 1860, so there may be no connection. I know there was a large Hughes family in Forsyth Co., but I have not found no connection there. Do you have the parents of Elizabeth? Pat
