Michael: It seems unlikely that a white man was born in Forsyth Co., GA. in 1793. The division of the first counties west of the Chattahoochee River did not begin until 1801; until then most of Ga.'s population resided in the coastal counties up to the Augusta area.
Don Shadburn's book "Pioneer History of Forsyth Co.,Ga" gives a detailed account of the ceding of the land by the Indians via treaties.
I'm wondering if you should look at Forsyth Co., North Carolina. You may have some luck... Pat
