Aschka is the way my childrens ancestors in Georgia pronocenced Askea, they still say it that way today. I Found a Hessen soldier with same name, very interesting. One older Askea had an e-mail with Essen Germany as the place where the name originated from, but I couldn't make a connection with him, he may have passed on. If you have any info. it would be greatly appreciated.
