Franklin Co., GA, was established on 23 Feb 1784 from lands ceded by the Cherokee and Creek Indians; its original territory included three counties in SC. The land was given by Bounty Grants to veterans of the Revolutionary War. Jackson Co. GA was formed from Franklin Co. by legislative act in Feb 1796.

Can someone tell me the names of the three SC counties that were part of Franklin Co. in 1784?
