I spent a lot of time on checking Lamar Co. Tx, person by person 1850 and also Hopkins Co. Tx. I don't find much on Mitchel Castlleberry in Hopkins Co., but next door I think is his sister Elizabeth married to Charles Sims. He died before 1860 and many of the family went to Lamar Co. Tx.
The Castleberry's go back to a connection to Jeremiah Castleberry m. Mary Vineyard--the name Vineyard a popular name used by the Thrashers.
