Does anyone have access to obituaries, etc for Fulton Co in 1963? I am trying to find information on John David Martin. He was born April 1876 in Oglethorpe Co, Ga. His mother's name was Margarette Elizabeth (Gray) Martin. I don't know his father's name. His mother was white, his father black. He was my grandfather's half brother. I believe he was married twice--possible names, Rose and Kathy. It is believed that he moved to the Atlanta area sometime after the death of his mother and after his 1st marriage.
I found this death info on Ancestry.com and am trying to verify if it is "my" John David Martin. I'm hoping an obituary will provide the name of the funeral home and a cemetery as well as family info.
