My nephew is president of the Funeral Directors of GA and I am on him to see about getting a way for records to be saved when a funeral business is closed. This will be so helpful for future research. Sometime they are sold and names changed and sometime just closed and the family keeps the records and eventualy destroys them. There are so many thru the years that this has happened with. Others in Atlnata closed, Harry G Poole, J. Austin Dillon, Bishop and Poe, A C Hemperly merged with another company dropped the AC and just uses Hemperley. here are others that I can's remember at this time. Records most likely gone.
