1st Lt. Fred Anthony Barton-family found

Family of 1st Lt Fred Anthony Barton has been found. Mr. Will Lindsay is talking with them via email-The search took about a year and we are all pleased. The family of 1st Lt. Barton killed in a plane crash 1945 in Ireland have been so kind and gracious to speak with us when they were contacted. Found that they lived in South Fulton County in the 1960's and now live in Woodstock. We taked memories of the area, I grew up in S Fulton county, and had laughs. Each year I attend the Mt. Gilead Methodist Church on Fairburn Rd. and their dau was married there. Have invited them to attend 2010 so we can actually meet and what a wonderful day it will be.
Never know who we will meet along the way while researching. It has been an honor and pleasure to assist Mr. Will Lindsay of Langford Lodge Rd., Belfast Ireland in his search. Thanks also goes to Ms. Sue Verhof at Atlanta History Center who without knowing it, provided the name we needed to solve the puzzle. Sue is a jewel and so is the Atlanta History Center. West View cemetery was also so helpful with identifying burial plots for the Barton family. It is not the ending of a search but the chase of the search.
