I would like to contact any family or someone with knowledge of Samuel Denton Allen that came to Gilmer County in 1838. My family line comes down from his brother John Cleveland Allen that stayed in Habersham County. I've seen a copy of the info in the Gilmer County Heritage book and that's about all I've got.
