Karen, my family of Dixons are from Louisiana. My ggrandfather was Riley Dixon, d.o.b., 2/3/1873. His mother was listed as Lenora Mathews and his father was Gallus?, Gallen? Dixon. His name was hard to make out.Would you have a Dixon with a name similar to Gallus or Gallen in John Newton Dixon's family? I can't find any information on Gallus?/Gallen? or Lenora anywhere. I don't know where they came from or who their parents were. I'd appreciate any information you might have. Thanks.
