Searching for any family member of B.A.J. Kitchens married Emma? b. ca. 1834, children Missouri, Seaborn H., Joseph A, William H., Angelou, Mattie(possibly older children other than these listed)living in Jefferson County, GA, 79th District on 1880 census. Next door neighbor in 1880 was Marinda Walden.
One family tree shows Benjamin A. J. Kitchens born 4/5/1840 in Warren County married 1859 Amy Miranda Harrison and all of the above children plus another child Marion C. Kitchens. Is this one in the same family? Am interested in the daughter Angelou or shown sometimes as Angie L. Kitchens, born July 1875. One record shows this Angelou married Samuel T. Downs in 1899. I have a deed record for a great uncle Samuel M. Walden, born ca. 1870 where he deeded his inherited land from his father's estate (Mitchell Walden) to his wife Angelou S. Walden on October 14, 1893. An Angie L. Walden, age 24 is shown living with Ben Kitchens and his wife Amy M. Kitchens in the 1234 Dist of Jefferson County in 1900 (no children in this household). This area was near the Glascock line. I have not been able to find a marriage record for Samuel M. Walden and Angelou (this is how name reads on deed) in either Jefferson or Glascock County. Samuel was on the Jefferson tax list until 1896.
Does anyone have any info on Angelou or Angie L Kitchens, daughter of Ben A. J. Kitchens that they can share with me.
