Jesse Townsend...I wonder whether you have had any family connection with Lucretia TOWNSEND Ferrill, whose obituary was picked up by USGenWeb Jackson County MS, and who died October 15, 1879, in Glynn County.

I am in the midst of creating an internet book on CLAN FERRILL, which extended family I have tracked from NC, to GA, to AL, to MS, to TX. Lucretia's maiden surname was Townsend. Lucretia might have lived in Chatham County, married there and moved with her spouse to Glynn County. John O Ferrill was an attorney in Savannah, and I wonder whether there might be a marriage connection between Lucretia and John's son, if he had one. Per Ancestry.com, there were only a few Ferrill's in GA in 1920. I am adding Lucretia Townsend Ferrill and John O Ferrill as tags in CLAN FERRILL,
