Does anyone know the ancestry of William N. Gramling, Sr. of St. Simons Island, GA? He was born 1871, died in 1951, and is buried in Christ Church Cemetery on the island.
He was married to Daisy Jeffers in 1895.
I think he had a brother named George E. Gramling and I think his father was George Hamilton Gramling, but these two things I'm not sure of.
I also have a photograph of the first ever UGA football team (Go DAWGS!!) from 1892 and there is a William N Gramling on that team. The time is about right and it may be him.
Any help on this line (Ancestors or descendants) would be appreciated.
