Many in my family seem to think William G. Purvis of Glynn County was the father of my g-g-grandfather Stephen Ashley Purvis of Appling Co. I've only found census records listing daughters for William G. and Martha (Bills) Purvis.
Appreciate feedback if anyone has any info that he might have had a son. The 1840 census shows a William Purvis living in Wayne Co., the rest show Glynn.
