I looked for a marriage license for CLUBBs but couldn't find any at the courthouse. While looking through James A. CLUBB's estate papers, I found his marriage license!! Someone didn't separate the probate records very well. Anyways, it says he married a Miss Josephine SPEARS. Whoever wrote her name on the license (I am assuming she did) was German. They wrote the German symbol for two "s" when they spelled "Miss". It looks like "Mip" on the record. I have James' estate papers ready, I will have to send it to you on disc, as it is fairly large. There is a will in the papers, and I also got the marriage license. These will be actual images of the records and not Xerox copies. Please send you mailing address to me personally at: amylyn@btconline.net Are you interested in any of the other CLUBB names that I mentioned? They may be related. Let me know.
