Hi Stacy,
I got your info today when I was at the library. George Whitfield is on page 62B HH# 728/734 in the 1850 Gordon County Census.
George 36 yrs Farmer
Elizabeth 38 yrs
Robert 16 yrs
John 13 yrs
Rowan 12 yrs
James 3 yrs
All of them shown being born in North Carolina. Hope this helps you!
