Margarette married James M. Smith on March 13, 1881 in Gordon Co., GA. She and her husband were long time members of Hill City Baptist Church in Gordon county, GA. Her marriage license from Calhoon, GA and her church's records record her name as Margaret. Her tombstone records Margarette. Both her and her husband are buried in that church's cemetery.
James and Margarette Smith had 5 children:
