Looking for information on Pleasant Johnson who was born in 1800 in North Carolina. He was in the 1850, 1860, and 1870 census of Gordon County, Ga. He died sometime after the 1870 census and is buried in Plainville area. He was married to Nancy UNKNOWN and had the following children: Nancy b. 1826, Alfred b.1828, Thomas b. 1830, John Henry b. 1834, and James W b.1841.Does anyone know of this family? If someone has a marriage book of Gordon County, I would appreciate a lookup to see if any of these children are listed. Thanks, Sherry in Rome, Ga.
