Hi Sandra,
I haven't gotten into the Taylor line that much yet. I have info from Gordon County heritage on Taylor line. Haven't checked census records yet either. Been doing other lines of family and haven't had time to get into the Taylor line. If I run across a connection will let you know. I do know that a Samuel Taylor married and moved to Texas, he is in my line of Taylors. Samuel Riley Taylor is the son of William Govan Taylor and Nancy McSpadden, he was born on 10-6-1853. Samuel Riley Taylor married Sarah Jane Adams in Gordon County, Ga before going to Texas but he died in Memphis, Texas.
Here is the info I have on Taylors: John R. Taylor(born ca. 1811) m. Matilda Edney their children: William Govan Taylor b. 1827, Asa Taylor b. 1829, ? Taylor b. 1831, ? Taylor b. 1833, Adolphus Taylor b. 1835(served in civil war), Robert H. Taylor b. 1836, John W. Taylor b. 1837, Albert B. Taylor b. 1842(twin, served in civil war), Alfred W. Taylor b. 1842(twin, served in civil war, Martha Taylor b. 1846, Otis M. Taylor b. 1848, Matilda Taylor b. 1850(my g-grandmother), James W. Taylor b. 1853.
Hope this helps a little.
Barbara
