My great grandfather was James H. McCool. He resided a number of years in Gordon County and is buried in the Scott Cemetery in Plainville.
I have found extensive information on his being active in the Plainville community and was (I believe) one of the founders of the Methodist Church there.
He also founded the Plainville Academy.
Any information is welcome.
