Would like info on my GGgrandfather Absolom B. King and wife Elizabeth Martin King.They were m. Ca. 1830 won land in the 1832 Cherokee Land Lottery.Listed on 1840,1850,1860 census.He was b. S.C. 1805 parents and siblings unknown.She was b. S.C. 1816 parents and siblings unknown.He went off to war w/ the 2nd Ga. Inf. came home in 1864,sick and died in hospital at Resaca 2 days later.He is not buried next to her at New Hope Baptist Church in Ackworth.ANY NEW INFO APPRECIATED.
