Hi Melba,

New question,
Ref: Hardin or Harden family

In reserching John Hardin and Mary "Polly" Quinn Hardin family, I am wandering if it is possible two groups of children were living in their home.
Note the birth years of these children. And two children named John?

*John Perry Hardin b. 1818
David Hardin b. 1825
William Hardin b.1830
*Amanda L. Hardin b. 1832
*Mary Eunice Hardin b. 1832
*John A. Hardin b. 1833
Perry Green Hardin b. 1834
Margeret Hardin b. 1841
Catharine Hardin b. 1843

Also, your referenced Census 1870 shows Eleg A. Harden living with John A. as a farm hand. I have been unable to find anything else on Eleg A. I also noticed his name was recorded ending with EN not IN. In looking at John A.'s name 1860 Census his names showed up as EN not IN. Can you help me with this information?

Thank You
Mark
