Seeking information on the Rich family mentioned in this 1850 Gordan Co., GA census:
The 1850 Gordon Co., GA census shows this family living next door to Martha Rich Buchanan who is Nancy's daughter. All were born in NC.
Benjamin Riche 13
Jane Riche 7
Josephine Riche 4
Mary R Riche 9
Nancy Riche 45
Polly Riche 11
Also on the 1850 Gordon Co., GA census page 35 are:
Elijah Rich, 25, NC.
Ruth, 24, NC.
Fanny, 8, NC.
Andrew J., 4, NC.
Lafayette, 2, NC. (I believe this boy is listed in the 1860 census with John W. Rich).
Matilda, 9 months, NC.
Living next door to this family are:
Rich, Jeremiah, 23, NC.
Naomi, 22, NC.
Sawyers, Andrew, 25, NC.
Possible that Benjamin Rich may have married in Gordan Co. but I am unable to find any marriage records.
